The Vocational Education Act (1930) assigned the task of developing a
suitable system of "continuation education" to the VECs, a task which was taken up by the vocational schools throughout the country.

Second-level schools in North Tipperary VEC have initially been at the core of provision of self-funded Adult Education night classes.

However in recent years our adult education centres have also become providers of night classes.

Currently we provide night classes in the following locations:

• Borrisokane Community College
• St Joseph's College, Newport
• St Sheelan's College, Templemore
• Youthreach Education Centre Roscrea
