Our Community Education Service is part of our adult education service and is aimed at the provision of educational programmes, at basic levels, to groups in communities across North Tipperary.

Our Community Education Service will engage learners in education that is relevant and accessed locally.

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to ensure, where possible, that an outreach community education service facilitates the development of human, social and identity potential of individuals.

Guiding Principles
The guiding principles of our service are as follows:

• The learner's right to attend on a voluntary basis and will be suported to to set his/her own goals
• An ethical code of confidentiality, respect and trust will inform all aspects of the service
• Cultural differences will be respected at all levels of the service
• Particular attention will be paid to creating and maintaining an atmosphere of social interaction, informality, and enjoyment within the service
• Learners will be enabled to participate in all relevant aspects of the organisation, including evaluation of the service.
