The Parents' Association was renamed the Parents and Friends of St. Joseph's College to accommodate parents who no longer had children in our school but who wished to support our efforts, especially in fundraising.

Parents and friends have organised raffles, silver circles, bagpackings, concerts, table quizzes, etc.
In 1994 a playing field was purchased opposite the school at a cost of €31,000 while four handball/racquetball alleys were erected in 2001 at a cost of €50,000.

Meetings are well attended and each agenda includes correspondence, the Principal's report, discussion on school policy as well as fundraising. Our parents' association is affiliated to the Parents' Association of Vocational Schools and Community Colleges (PAVSCC)

Recently the parents/friends ran an art competition to enhance the building. The winning entries are displayed on the "Wall of Fame".
