FETAC Folders Completed
First and foremost we would like to congratulate our Learners on completing and submitting their FETAC folders. The last few weeks have been very busy but we are delighted our Learners are being awarded FETAC Certificates in Art and Design, Textiles, Woodcraft, Music Appreciation, Communications, Maths, Photography, Personal Development, Computers, and Food and Nutrition.
Students Receive VEC Awards
A big congratulations is also due to four of our Learners who recently received North Tipperary VEC Awards. Kathleen Crowe (Littleton) received a Personal Achievement Award, Joleen Reilly (Littleton) received an award for sport, Christina Harty (Nenagh) received the Educational Achievement Award and Ann Casey (Nenagh) received the award for Art and Craft.
Visit to "All Shook Up" in The Grand Canal Theatre
Last week Learner's combined a fun day out with researching for their Music Appreciation course. Eileen Kennedy our Music Teacher led a group of Learners to The Grand Canal Theatre for the musical production, "Whistle Down the Wind". This experience was followed by a practical workshop where we tried out a wide range of musical instruments including tin whistles, piano accordians, flutes and a 150 year old fife.
We are now looking forward to our exciting summer programme which will run until our holidays at the end of July.
