NOTICE OF NAME CHANGE

North Tipperary VEC amalgamated with South Tipperary VEC on 1st July 2013.
The amalgamated organisation is known as Tipperary Education and Training Board (TETB).
These changes are brought about by the commencement of the Education and Training Boards Act on 1st July, 2013.  

Our website is focused on the provision of easily accessible and relevant information. It is our hope that it will enable you, through the drop-down menus above, find the information you are looking for as efficiently as possible.

 STUDENT MAINTENANCE GRANTS APPLICATION FORMS 2014/2015 - all applications for 2014/2015 should be completed online to SUSI www.susi.ie .

Tipperary Education and Training Board continue to process all grant renewals for current students.  If you have been in receipt of a Student Maintenance Grant from North Tipperary VEC (now TETB) and are continuing with the same course then you should complete the grant renewal form issued to you and return it to TETB Administration Offices, Church Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary immediately.  Closing date for the receipt of renewal forms is the 16th June, 2014 and reassesment forms 25th June 2017.  Please note you must submit your year end exam results for 2013/2014 to prove progression, if repeating please advise us and submit results of your repeats as soon as possible.


 

Tipperary Education and Training Board provides a comprehensive range of educational services to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of learners throughout the County. The services range from full-time education in five Post Primary Schools, one College of Further Education, to the provision of Self-financing Night Classes in numerous schools and centres throughout the County.

The Committee provides a Literacy Service and supports Community Education across the County as well as supporting workplace education with the County Council, H.S.E., FAS, and other agencies.

Other programmes include Youthreach and Youthreach Progression, the Vocational Training Opportunities Schemes (VTOS), Back To Education Initiatives (BTEI), Schools Completion Programme, Traveller Education and an Adult Education Guidance and Information Service for North Tipperary.

FETAC Qualifications

In recent years North Tipperary VEC has included FETAC Levels 1 and 2 so that we now offer educational programmes ranging from Level 1 to Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications.

Youthwork

In addition, the Committee through its Youth Officer supports voluntary youth groups to provide educational, developmental and recreational programmes for young people.
